FIRST ADVANTAGE BANK BECOMES PARTNER IN PROGRESS TO TWO RIVERS COMPANY
CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – First Advantage Bank has joined Two Rivers Company’s growing list of supporters as a Partner in Progress with a $15,000 donation. These funds will back Two Rivers Company’s continuing efforts to stimulate economic development and growth in Clarksville’s Downtown and River District.
“We realize the importance and value of supporting the growth and revitalization of the central core of Clarksville/Montgomery County,” said Earl Bradley, CEO, First Advantage Bank. “The TRC has made great strides that will help fuel our downtown, creating economic development with a coordinated plan. First Advantage recognizes the value of investing in this plan which will benefit all residents of our county through increased tax revenues from property taxes, sales taxes, increased jobs, and quality of life. We are seeing the results unfold before our eyes with new restaurants, shopping, housing and entertainment.”
Bradley said that leading this sort of development takes a catalyst like Two Rivers Company, which is a cousin to the Industrial Development Board and Economic Development Council.
“I am grateful for this investment from our latest Partner in Progress, First Advantage Bank. The Partner in Progress Program helps drive the future development and success of downtown and the River District, which in turn creates an entertainment and lifestyle center that is attractive to residents, visitors and employee recruits” said Norman Quirion Two Rivers Company Executive Director. Recently, Two Rivers Company has executed the first ever downtown seasonal ice skating rink, commissioned the Clarksville Starry Night Mural, opened the popular Downtown Commons park, and launched the Downtown@ Sundown six-part concert series.
“We view this as an investment in our future, and we hope other businesses and community leaders will step up to the plate to also provide Two Rivers Company the seed money to keep this momentum going,” Bradley said.
First Advantage Bank operates eight full-service banking centers in Middle Tennessee and a specialized lending office in Knoxville. First Advantage Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Advantage Bancorp, which is traded on OTC QX under the symbol FABK.
