Multiple Events at Downtown Commons This Weekend

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TN – Back again this Friday, June 7th at 7 p.m. is Downtown Commons’ Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series. Come join us for a night of FREE music and fun. Tennessee Pluckers will open the night up with an arrangement of southern rock. Rolling Stones Tribute act, Satisfaction, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Vendors like Bench Clearing, Sacer & Savive, and ART Link, will be available along with Golly G’s. Great food is also available in several of the downtown restaurants. Beer and other beverages will be for sale by our featured non-profit, Bikers Who Care. Chairs and blankets are welcome. No pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol is allowed on site.

Street closures will begin at 3 p.m., Friday on Main Street from Second Street to Third Street.

Kid Palooza, a FREE Family Fair will take place Saturday, June 8th from 2-6 p.m. An exciting lineup of fun activities and stage entertainment will take place throughout the event. There will also be retail and non-profit vendors on site. Kid Palooza is sponsored by Altra Federal Credit Union and Two Rivers Company.

Street closures for Saturday begin at noon and include Second Street from Main Street to Legion Street, Legion Street from Second Street to Third Street, and Third Street from Franklin to Main Street. Please be advised the parking lot on the corner of Third Street and Main Street will be reserved for another event.
